The Edmundson Northstar Companies are experts in developing executional leadership, competitive business strategy, sales, sales management, customized employee assessments, and hiring salespeople for companies across a multitude of industries.

From 1990 through 1998, Ken served as partner, Chairman and CEO of LEDIC Management Group, Inc. He led LEDIC to become one of the ten largest and most successful multi-family property-fee-management companies in the U.S. and then led a very successful sale of the company to a Wall Street investment firm.

Prior to his position at LEDIC, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Dunavant Development Corporation and a shareholder in the parent company, Dunavant Enterprises, Inc., the 82nd largest privately held company in Forbes List of Top 100 Private Companies. He was responsible for activities involving the investment, development, sale, leasing and management of commercial, industrial and residential real estate. Ken also served for six years as President and Chief Operating Officer of Memphis Aero Corporation, a subsidiary of Dunavant Enterprises, and a successful chain of general aviation fixed base operations and the world's largest distributor of Piper aircraft parts. He was instrumental in leading the negotiation and successful sale of the company to AMR Corporation, the parent company of American Airlines.

Ken began his career in 1975 with Martin Industries, Inc. of Alabama, a large privately held manufacturing firm with sales throughout the U.S. and Canada. At the age of 25, he assumed the responsibility as National Sales Manager and Product Director of a division with a 100-man sales force.

Ken's success in building large, service-driven, employee-motivated companies has led to his recognition as a prominent speaker, teacher and trainer on the subjects of "The Complete and Effective Salesperson," "The Honorable Way to Sell" and "The Perfect Employee," "Teamwork", "Communication" and "Business Strategy."

In 1992, Ken was recognized by Memphis magazine as one of the top 100 Memphis business leaders who are contributing to the city and its growth.

Ken and his wife, Debbie, have been married for 35 years and are the parents of three girls. They work together in teaching and mentoring young married couples.
