Real leaders blame themselves first, and that's fixable!
The Edmundson Northstar Companies take a long-term approach to your training and employee assessment needs. It is impossible for your staff to maintain a change in behavior from a simple one- or two-day seminar. We firmly believe it takes time with ongoing reinforcement training.
We teach salespeople, sales managers and non-selling professionals how to get results. We are not a motivational, "quick fix" sales seminar. Why? Psychological studies prove that memory fades very quickly. Even after the most inspiring sales seminars, participants feel good and plan to implement concepts they have heard, but most of the time within 48 hours, people can remember only a few one-liners and power phrases. As a result, no permanent change is exhibited in their performance or results.
Our programs feature weekly classroom instruction, live coaching and structured self-study material, along with committed trainers who take a personal interest in helping their clients grow both personally and professionally. Each training session is reinforced and highly structured.
A seminar without a goal of producing long-term results is simply entertainment. And that's not our business.
The Edmundson Northstar Code of Conduct
Our code of conduct is also embedded deeply into our philosophy. In our day-to-day business practices, we adhere to these standards:
- Under no circumstances will we speak negatively about our competitors or another business person.
- We will always work hard with a positive attitude. Work is a gift from God, and we will treat it as an important part of our life...not as a burden.
- We will always be honest.
- We will never knowingly take advantage of another person or situation, even if it is obvious that no one else will know.
- We will always try to do what is right...if we are uncertain, we will seek the advice of trusted advisors and the opinion of others who might be affected by our actions or decisions.
- We will always treat employees under our responsibility the way that we would want our children or parents to be treated in the same situation.
- We will never speak negatively about our work, our clients, our employees, our partners or our superiors to our spouses or children.
- We will always spend as much time as it takes to do our job well.
- We will always acknowledge others' contributions to our success.
- We will accept responsibility for our mistakes.
- We will always remember that people appreciate what they discover about us more than what we tell them about ourselves.
- We will never respond or reply to anyone when angry or upset.
